NEIL VOKES

Neil Vokes has been telling stories in comic books professionally for over 33 years. In 1984, he was assigned the Japanese cartoon based Robotech series for Comico Comics. This led to his co-creating EAGLE which, with his partner Rich Rankin, was self-published for several years through Crystal Comics (their own label.)

As time went on, Neil was lucky to have gotten work in the mainstream books, including: SUPERMAN ADVENTURES, TARZAN THE WARRIOR, UNTOLD TALES OF SPIDER-MAN: STRANGE ENCOUNTERS, TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, JONNY DEMON, TEENAGENTS, CONGORILLA, NINJAK, PARLIAMENT OF JUSTICE, THE BLACK FOREST 1 & 2 (Bob Tinnell,Todd Livingston and Neil won Rondo Awards for both volumes), THE WICKED WEST 1 & 2, FLESH & BLOOD (Bob and Neil won a "Ghastly Award" for Best Original Graphic Novel) and DR. STRANGE: FROM THE MARVEL VAULT #1. He’s left quite a few out due to space and humility...well, ok...just space.

Neil also did chapter illustrations for two film books: IN ALL SINCERITY, PETER CUSHING by Chris Gullo and VINCENT PRICE: THE ART OF FEAR by Denis Meikle.

Neil has recently finished new EAGLE and DEATH'S DARK ANGEL books, along with DARK TALES FROM THE VOKESVERSE (among others) with writer Jack Herman through the American Mythology company.

That's All, Vokes!

Lady J Nerdy Enterprises

Lady J Nerdy Enterprises, LLC is owned by Lady J who is a Philadelphia based published Cosplayer. She believes cosplay is so important because it allows people to share experiences and express their creative/artistic sides.  It also allows us to share our favorite heroes/villains and share the positive effect these stories of heroism can have on an individual. Lady J not only cosplays for those reasons but to spread Cospositivity: acceptance to all shapes, sizes, colors, genders, skill level etc. and to use it to help spread the word and fundraise for charities.  This passion for charity work is why she became one of the founders and owner of the cosplay charity group known as the Philadelphia Avengers which is its own LLC.  Lady J is also a member of the Philadelphia Power Rangers where she is known as Philly Yellow. This love for Power Rangers led her to help start the first all Power Ranger Convention in the Philadelphia Area, called Ranger Station where she is co-owner.  Ranger Station started her love for event planning and Lady J has started her own Mutant & Proud event which is an X-Men themed Hellfire Club inspired event.
